We were both born & raised on the beautiful island of Curaçao and moved to the Netherlands after high school to study, where we still hold a permanent address.
Travelling the world was always a dream for both of us, but it wasn’t until our first backpacking trip to Indonesia in 2015 where we really fell in love with the experience of travelling. Even though we have done some “close-to-home” and comfortable travelling before this, it wasn’t until we jumped into the unknown that we realised what travelling meant to us.
One of our favourite quote is:
“Travel is more than having a destination in mind; it’s discovering a place in your heart you’ve never been before” – Mark Amend
That’s exactly how we felt after that trip. We were bitten by the wanderbug and now consider ourselves to be world citizens!
The idea for this blog sparked in our minds and hearts during that Indonesia trip and we launched it a year later in 2016. Through this blog we will take you along the journey of living out our passions for Fitness & Travel. The fitness preparation leading up to travelling, tips on how to stay fit while travelling, the best gyms & workout spots at destinations, exercises that you can do anywhere, tips & tricks of places we visited and much more!
