Aaah local food! We always go to Plasa Bieu, also called Marshe Bieu, for the best local food. Since Emely can’t cook the traditional Okra soup herself, it’s a must eat whenever we go back home. We know it doesn’t look delicious, it looks quite slimmy, but man does it taste good! Rayni and Goran went for the fish.. boring!
We’re also taking you along the city center called Punda and walked on the pontoon bridge to Otrobanda. Did you know that there’s a story behind the colorful buildings in Curaçao?
But our time on the island quickly came to its end and to soften the blow, we decided to do Private Boarding with the local company Jet Centre. It was quite an experience and made us feel like VIPs! We had time to chill in a private lounge and didn’t have to wait in the customs line. We were driven to the plane and had an awkward moment when people were asked to move aside so that we can walk through to board the plane. Now we know what celebrities must feel like when traveling! Only they probably wouldn’t feel this awkward.
